I love this quote by Lady Bird Johnson.
"Where flowers bloom, so does hope."
The first card I made for CASology-Week 37: Hope.
(I tried to leave it as CAS as possible.)
In the second photo, I added the seam binding.
(It's more my style.)
I'm entering the second one in the Catered Crop-Recipe Swap-Flower Power.
And also adding it to Simon Says...Anything Goes!
Supplies

Both are so beautiful, Marth! I'm quite partial to your bows so I really love the second one! Happy Easter to you, my friend! :)
this is just stunning, Martha and even with the seam binding it is still so very CAS! I'm so glad to see you playing along with CASology this week!!
Oh these are wonderful, Martha! Perfect for the "hope" challenge--terrific quote perfectly showcased. I like the addition of the seam binding, too!
Happy Easter, Martha! I LOVE this CAS card...the white embossing pops against that beautiful blue, and I love the subtle flowers. It is pretty both ways...with and without the bow! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!
Wow! I love the shape, the colour and the stamping! I think the one with the bow is a teensy bit nicer! So glad you joined in on the fun at CASology this week!
So beautiful, Martha! You know I LOVE the shape, and even with the ribbon, it's still very CAS. Happy Easter to you!
This card is gorgeous! Both in its original version, and with the addition of the seam binding! So soft and elegant. :) Thank you for joining us in the "Anything Goes" challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog this week! xxo
Gorgeous - I love the one layered card on blue - I never think to do that, and always end up on white. It reminds me of Wedgewood (am I dating myself here?! lol!) Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!
Both of these are blue beauties! Love the little touch of pretty you added to the second version, but both are wonderfully CAS! :)
Thanks so much for joining us at CASology!
Congrats on your HM shout out at CASology, Martha!

I love the soft look of the tone on tone stamping and thank you so much for the sweetest comment you were so kind to leave on my blog ;-)
Lovely card! I love the sentiment, the muted flowers and the shape!!
Lovely shaped card! I like both versions, too.
Cheers, Karen
Love this shape of card Martha :) Both are nice, but I think the ribbon adds just a little extra something.
Have a great weekend!! XX
I love the stark contrast between the white and that beautiful blue cardstock Martha!
