Patchwork Tag-Card

Hello!
When I saw Melissa Phillips' video - PTI-Make It Monday #96-Patchwork Die-Cuts,
I knew I wanted to experiment with the Patchwork technique.
Since I really enjoy making Tag-Cards, I played around with the design on the PTI-Tag Sale #5 die.
I love the My Mind's Eye-Lost & Found Christmas patterned paper.
This is my second attempt at stitching on paper.
(I'm still needing more practice.)
This Tag-Card is for my Dear Husband.

Supplies
Stamp:  Hero Arts-Year Round Sentiments
Die/Punch:  PTI-Tag Sale #5, SU-Star Punch
Paper:  PTI-Cardstock, My Mind's Eye-Lost & Found-Christmas
Ink:  Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, VersaMark
Other:  Clear Embossing Powder, Foam Adhesive, Sewing Machine

Thank you for stopping by today.
If you get a chance, be sure to check out Melissa's video.

LOVE it -- I never know what to do with stars and you've inspired me! I did the patchwork 2 years ago with pumpkin dies (Thanksgiving) and they were SO cute. Did it again with hearts for the following Valentine's day. Such a fun technique and I really like the papers & tag shape you've chosen for yours.
Have a very Merry Christmas Martha!
Cheers, Karen
PS ... we are in a cold snap ... it's 11 below 0 today. Ug.

Sooo clever Martha! Love what you have done with the papers. I have been very busy with orders and making gifts and have not done much blog hopping sadly, till now. Your blog is not one I miss out and am so glad I have caught up with your posts. You really do inspire me Martha. Wishing you and yours a Christmas full of joy and happiness and make lots of memories!
Love from a steamy, hot, sticky, South Africa! Oh for some snow....

Oh this is stunning, Martha! Wonderfully done for your hubby. I don't know how you can say you need to practice the sewing as this looks absolutely perfect to me! Merry Christmas & blessings to you in the new year.
