Mini Card

What a wonderful surprise to learn that my name was drawn in the Verve-Mojo Monday #296 Contest!

(I loved that sketch!  This was my entry.)

How generous of Verve Stamps, that I got to select a stamp set of my choice.

I selected the Take Note set, and I've used it today for the Verve-June Diva Dare-Puddles of Color.

The challenge is to use "Coloring and/or Painting", with the option of using "kraft" cardstock.

I painted pink acrylic paint on kraft cardstock, stamped with black ink,

stamped the hearts with white & pink acrylic paints, &

did some "crazy" stitching with my sewing machine.

I love making "mini-cards" (this one is approximately 3" x 3"), AND I love using "kraft" cardstock.

I'm also playing along with the Simon Says Stamp & Show...Challenge - Kraft.

Sweet (Tag-Card)

Hello & Welcome!

I brushed on three different colors of acrylic paints on a die-cut tag,

did some stamping, and attached a second die-cut tag, to create my "Tag-Card".

(To be able to stamp "single" flowers, I actually cut one of the WPlus9 stamps.)

I was inspired by the lovely colors at WPlus9-Monday Mood Board #14.

Also, playing along with the Cloud 9-June Blog Hop.

Cards For Maddy

My heart ♥ was moved when I saw this:  Cards For Maddy, at the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

 I knew I wanted to do my small part in sending Maddy some hugs.

I think I remember reading somewhere, that one of her favorite colors is purple.

I love making Tag-Cards, so that's what I made for her.

(It was difficult to photograph.  The color is actually lighter/brighter IRL than the way it appears in my photo.)

Song Bird

Howdy!

I've had a TJ Designs-Bird ATCs-Paper Pack for a LONG time, that I have NEVER used.

The pack contains 15-Collage pages that are 8 1/2" x 11".

(Am I the only one with unused items?)

Today is the day to put this collection to good use.

AND, since I really enjoy making "Tag-Cards", that's what I decided to make.
