Where Flowers Bloom...

I love this quote by Lady Bird Johnson.
"Where flowers bloom, so does hope."

The first card I made for CASology-Week 37: Hope.
(I tried to leave it as CAS as possible.)
In the second photo, I added the seam binding.
(It's more my style.)
I'm entering the second one in the Catered Crop-Recipe Swap-Flower Power.
And also adding it to Simon Says...Anything Goes!

Supplies
Stamps:  (Hero Arts)-Blooming Meadow; (Deadbeat Designs)-Sentiment
Ink:  VersaMark
Dies:  Spellbinders
Other:  White Embossing Powder, Seam Binding

Happy Easter!

Paper Bag Pocket & Tag-Cards

Hello & Welcome!
Have I got something fun & different to share with you today!

On the Catered Crop blog, Linda McClain puts together
some fabulous & very inspiring Pinterest Boards for her challenges (Recipe Swaps).
Since I love creating with "kraft", this Paper Bag Ribbon pin caught my eye,
and lead me to the discovery of Roben-Marie's blog.
This wonderful video tutorial by Roben-Marie was my inspiration for the paper bag pocket I've created.
Roben-Marie is one talented artist, and has lots of fabulous video tutorials.

If you know anything about me, you know I really enjoy making "Tag-Cards" and mini bags.
I had lots of fun creating the paper bag pocket and tag-cards.
(The messy stitching was my favorite part of the creation process.)
This is my first time to sew on a paper bag, and I know it won't be my last.
It's also my first time to create this type of flower (using a flame).

I created this for the Catered Crop - Recipe Swap - Flower Power,
and the Simon Says...Anything Goes challenge.

Stamps:  (Hero Arts)-Sew Perfect & Tiny Ink Spots
Dies:  (Sizzix-Tim Holtz)-Tag & Tie; Spellbinders-Nestabilities
Ink:  VersaMark, Color Box-White, Distress Inks, Jet Black Archival

Happy crafting!
