Using a Product NOT Intended for Paper Crafts

I recently participated in Greta's-90-Minute Scramble-#94, over at the Hero Arts Flickr Group.
Greta asked us to use a product NOT intended for paper crafts.
I have saved (recycled) several items to use with my paper crafting.
On this card, I used a small empty bottle top and its cap to do some circle stamping.
90-Minutes sure seem to pass so quickly, when I'm creating.
Usually, I begin with one design, and then I completely change it.
Then, I literally "SCRAMBLE" to complete, photograph, & upload my creation,
in the remaining minutes.
(OH, but it's so much fun!)
Thankfully, the CAS(E) This Sketch #94, by Donna Mikasa, came to mind as I scrambled.

This photo shows the bottle top & bottle cap.

This photo shows my practice stamping with my first idea on the left.
Then, I decided to change one distress ink color, and practiced stamping my final design.

Hero Arts Stamps: Everyday Sayings, and Texture & Shape (Thanks, Jacqueline, for this set!)
The "Splatter" stamp is by Invoke Arts.
Remember eyelets?  I've used one of many that have sat unused for years.

Patterned Paper

Darnell sure knows how to throw a party!
She is having an online birthday party for Sweet Bev...(find Bev's blog at:  Happy Dance.)
Bev is one of the kindest ladies, so I knew I HAD to join the celebration!
And, since TAG-CARDs are my favorite to create, I thought I would make one for Bev.
I included some DOTS at the bottom (because I saw on her blog that she likes dots).
(Happy Birthday to you, Bev!)

Challenges
- Darnell's - NBUS Challenge #2
(I'm using a Graphic 45 patterned paper for the first time.)
(Tags and TAG-CARDs are my favorite to create.)
  Techniques I've Used:
  -Clear-Emboss a Sentiment
  -Use a Tag to Create a "TAG-CARD"

I was inspired by the colors of the lamp in the Inspiration Photo provided.
The polka dots are clear-embossed.
The "happy" is gold-embossed, & the "birthday" is white-embossed.
(This card is on its way to my sweet sister.)

I'm also playing along with:

Using Patterned Paper

When I saw Virginia's View Challenge #4, I knew I had to play along.
Virginia has asked us to create a Tag or a Scrapling, & incorporate a recycled item.
If you have visited my blog or my Flickr Photostream, you know that I love making Tags & Tag-Cards.
And, what a great opportunity to use up some of my patterned paper scraps.
(Thanks, Virginia, for a FUN challenge.)

Gesso, Paints, Stencil (ICAD #6)

This ICAD turned out so differently than originally planned.
It was fun playing around with inks, gesso, and acrylic paints.
I'm playing along with the following:
To create the background:
Two images, cut from a Dillard's newspaper flyer, were adhered
Distress inks & gesso were used with the Tim Holtz Dot Fade stencil
Circles were stamped in Black with a recycled foam tape ring
Blue & white lines were stamped with a recycled plastic card
