Thank You

I love the Papertrey Ink - Make It Monday #83 video by Melissa Phillips.  She came up with a clever idea - Card Aisle Inspiration.  Back when I used to buy cards, I enjoyed looking through all the cards, to find the perfect one.  I love Melissa's idea, so I had to play along.  Except that I searched the Hallmark online store for my inspiration.

I'm also adding this to the Simon Says Stamp...Emboss It!

Here is my card.

This card was my source of inspiration.

I Thought of You Today

While in Colorado, I found this fabulous Graphic 45 patterned paper and the lovely May Arts ribbon.
The top and the bottom of the tag are stamped with a woodgrain stamp.  The pocket is made to fit the tag.  (I love doing this with tags.)

I'm adding this to the Simon Says Stamp & Show - Read All About It - STAMPTEMBER.

Your visit and comments are greatly appreciated!
Have a nice weekend!

PTI-Make It Monday #76: Double-Time Bleach Stamping

Hello, and thank you for your visit today.  (This is actually my second post today.)

When I saw Nichole's PTI-Make It Monday #76  video, it reminded me of how much fun it was, when I was first introduced to the bleaching technique several years ago.  So I knew I HAD to enter this challenge.  I love the way "kraft" cardstock changes to a yellowish color when bleached.  The kraft circle and the bottom kraft strip were stamped with bleach and red ink.  All stamps and dies used are by Papertrey Ink.

Supplies
Stamps:  (PTI)-On The Farm
Dies:  (PTI)-Tag Sale #5, On The Farm
Ink:  (Distress Inks)-Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Walnut Stain; VersaMark; (HA)-Hero Hues-Punch Chalk Ink
Paper:  (PTI)-Rustic Cream, Kraft; (SU)-Soft Suede
Other:  Clear Embossing Powder, Circle Punch, Jute Twine, Foam Adhesive, Bleach

Your visit and comments are greatly appreciated.

Tags With Mini Bags & A Tag-Card

Hello, and thank you for stopping by today!

If you know anything about my creative style, I really enjoy making Tag Cards and Tags with Pockets.
So while on a wonderful vacation, I taught a class at the fabulous scrapbook store, Rocky Mountain Memories in Estes Park, Colorado.  The store owners, Cheryl & Rick Grigsby, are the sweetest couple.
They allowed me to hang out at their store, as often as my heart desired, to do a little creating, while away from home.  :-)  Thanks, Cheryl and Rick!

This is what the wonderful ladies created in the class that I taught.  All the stamps are by B Line Designs.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Sunshine

Hello, and thank you for stopping by today.  Hope you are having some sunshine in your part of the world.
We get LOTS of it in my part of the world.

I really enjoy making tag cards by simply adhering a second blank tag behind the top of the front tag.
This allows me to write a message on the inside of the card.

I made this for the following challenges:
Hero Arts-July-Summer
CASology - Week #1 - Sun
CAS-ual Fridays - CFC60 - Text Me

I've used two medium tags.  The bottom of the front tag is stamped with the Hero Arts Old French Writing, and the tag is embossed with a Quickutz-Dot Embossing Folder.  The Martha Stewart-Die Cut Lace Tag and the Hug Snug-Seam Binding are painted with Golden-Iridescent Gold acrylic paint, which produces a beautiful shimmer.

Supplies
Stamps:  (Hero Arts)-CL512-Lauderdale Sunshine, H2365-Old French Writing, CL414-Classic Messages
Die:  Sizzix-Tim Holtz-Tiny Tabs & Tags
Paper:  PTI-White, Black; Basic Grey-Little Black Dress
Ink/Paint:  VersaMark Ink, Archival-Jet Black, Golden-Iridescent Gold Acrylic Paint
Other:  Medium Tags, Quickutz-Dot Embossing Folder, Martha Stewart-Die-Cut Lace Tag, Scrapper's Floss, Denami Design-Black Button, Foam Adhesive

Have a wonderful day!
